Trail Work: Big Laguna Trail/Upper Noble
The heavy winter rains have allowed the brush to grow back with a vengeance. We need your help to cut it back. By putting the trailwork time in now sets you up for some epic rides this autumn. Help us get the brush out of your face.
We will be working on the Indian Creek Trail below the intersection of Upper Noble Canyon Trail after the portion we left off.
Meet at Penny Pines at 7:30 am, we'll then carpool to the work location on Pine Creek Road. Look for Brian Suzuki who will be driving a blue Toyota Matrix with SDMBA trailwork signs leaning against the car.
All tools & training will be provided (after signing a waiver). We’ll work to 11:30 am; afterward we’ll hand out some swag from Cal Coast Bicycles.
Please bring your own food & water, eye protection is required, gloves, long sleeves & pants are highly recommended. Plan accordingly for flies. Children not advised for this event.
Please notify event leader of any medical conditions.
** This event subject to last minute postponement/cancellation because of adverse weather.**
Directions: Take Interstate 8 east to the Sunrise Highway (S1) exit; continue north to mile marker 27.3, Penny Pines parking area (upper Noble Canyon Trail Head).
