This course is designed to improve the quality of cross-generational relationships in personal and professional life. Objectives include confronting and breaking down generational stereotypes, recognizing valuable learning opportunities, improving communication skills, and gaining understanding and insight of the people who represent each generation.

In this Course We Will:

  • Define each of the five current generations in the workforce
  • Understand the narratives associated with each generation
  • Work through real stories, conflicts, and successes in cross-generational interactions
  • Introduce and discuss the generational life cycle of inheritance, stewardship, and legacy

About the facilitator: 
Rick Baron,  Project Manager, Al Terry Plumbing & Heating Instructor, NH School of Mechanical Trades

Rick is a 3rd generation New Hampshire master plumber / pipe fitter who has worked in the construction industry throughout his career. Rick attended college at Southern New Hampshire University, earning his Bachelor of Science in Business Studies. He is also entering his third consecutive school year teaching classes for the New Hampshire Plumbing Apprentice Program at the New Hampshire School of Mechanical Trades in Manchester, NH.
