MDA’s Annual Lansing Day is an opportunity for members to meet their state legislators, to learn and share MDA’s current legislative concerns, and to become even more effective advocates on behalf of our communities at the State Capitol. With the 2017-18 Legislative session just beginning and a minimum of 42 freshmen State Representatives in the House (out of 110 seats), member participation at MDA’s 2017 Lansing Day is especially critical.

Creative Approaches to Business Recruitment and Retention Workshop

This one-day workshop features business recruitment and retention best practices – what to do and what to avoid. There will also be a special presentation on the future of TIF in downtowns at 2:45.
