How to use and operate mobile cranes safely in accordance with OSHA and industry standards, including:
This training is classroom only, and it is assumed that you have some practical experience operating a crane. If you have never operated a crane before, or have very limited experience, practical training can be arranged on an hourly basis at additional cost
Recognize and avoid unsafe conditions associated with the operation of mobile cranes and movement of loads.
Reduce employer liability exposure through OSHA-required training and certification
SCHEDULE: (all classes begin at 8:00 am)
Monday: General knowledge concepts
Tuesday: Load charts
Wednesday: OSHA/ASME standards, signaling and rigging, and practice tests
Thursday: Written and Practical Exams
Registration fee includes preparation class, all books and materials, testing fees, written exam re-takes if needed (but not a practical exam re-take), and crane rental for the practical exam if you need it. It is also an option for you to bring your own crane to test in.

This class requires us to do a significant amount of pre-planning, including crane rental reservations and advance exam registrations that we must pay for on a non-refundable basis. We ask that you make a firm commitment when you register, as last-minute cancellations can result in financial losses for us and can even force us to have to cancel a class and inconvenience our other customers.
