Event Description
Casual Conversation: Assessing the user experience in library spaces

Thursday, February 22, 2024, 10:00 - 11:00 a.m.

In this casual conversation, co-sponsored by the Instruction & Information Literacy and Web/UX Interest Groups, we’ll discuss strategies for assessing how users experience physical spaces in our libraries, including instructional spaces such as library classrooms and research consultation areas. Denise Leyton, projects coordinator for the Strategic Planning Team at University of Michigan Library, will get the conversation started with examples of the UX work she has done.

Share your knowledge, and learn from others, as we discuss topics such as:
- How can we assess the user experience in library spaces?
- How does the learning environment impact the user experience and student learning?
- What tools can help us evaluate the in-person user experience?
