Under general supervision of the Administration Lieutenant, the Crime Analyst Administrator supervises, plans, and coordinates the research, crime information gathering, and analysis activities in support of the Frisco Police Department. Uses advanced comprehensive knowledge of administrative, tactical, and strategic crime analysis to review and analyze crime reports, interpret patterns and trends, disseminate information, and make recommendations related to possible suspects, potential crimes, locations of future crimes and methods of operation.

Job Requirements
Knowledge of supervisory and managerial techniques and principles.
Knowledge of rules and regulations related to public police record maintenance and storage.
Knowledge of City policies and procedures.
Proficiency in the use of computers and related equipment, hardware and software to maintain multiple databases and spreadsheets, specifically Microsoft Office.
Skill in effective oral and written communications.
Skill in entering, retrieving, copying, tracking and storing police records, files and reports.
Preferred Education, Experience, and Certifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice, Research Methodology, Statistics or related field and five (5) years' experience in research, crime analysis, intelligence analysis and/or interpretation of law enforcement data, two (2) of which were in a lead or supervisory capacity.
May be required to obtain National Crime Information Center and Texas Crime Information Center Certifications.
Must pass a pre-employment drug screening, polygraph and psychological examination.
Must possess or be able to obtain a State of Texas Driver's License.
