OB FUNCTION: The Investigative Support & Intelligence Researcher is a new role within the Chelsea FC Security Department. It will form an integral part of the department's investigative function and will lead on research projects by analysing an array of information - from publicly accessible sources and company systems - and identifying trends and activities that may breach the Club's ticketing terms & conditions, the ground regulations and which may present a risk to the Club's reputation.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

Support the Security Department's investigative functions and anti-touting priorities, with a specific focus on anti-social behavior, discrimination and those activities and behaviors that may damage the reputation of the Club.
Maintain a number of statistical databases.
Support departmental investigations by utilising company systems such as the Clue database to produce meaningful data.
Support the security team by providing detailed analysis and intelligence products that can support on-going investigations.
Track and research current fraud and ticket touting methodologies to inform future investigations.
Perform security research reviews on known and potential security vulnerabilities across the Club.
Research and compile evidential material to support criminal and civil prosecutions and the Club's sanction policies.
Maintain and develop key partnerships and information sharing amongst other clubs and outside agencies in relation to ticket touting methods.
Monitor trends in relation to online ticket misuse.
Utilise business tools to investigate and monitor trends in anti-social behaviour and breaches of the Club's terms and conditions.
Conduct security audits and reviews in order to identify gaps and vulnerabilities to senior management.
Oversee the CCTV system to ensure it meets the needs of all users and is compliant with GDPR.
Use the CCTV to assist investigations.
Compile presentational products.
Support the match day ticket touting operations and security teams.
MEASURES OF PERFORMANCE:

CCTV use and procedures meet the standards required by the Data Protection Act.
To ensure all customer satisfaction issues are completed within 14 days, in accordance with the customer charter.

Qualifications:
PERSONAL SPECIFICATION:

Sound analytical skills together with knowledge and proven ability using a range of software systems.

Experience in preparing evidence based and factual reports to the standards required in legal proceedings.

Previous experience of CCTV systems and production of evidential CCTV material.

Proven customer-focused approach.

Knowledge of relevant legislation including ticket touting and associated football legislation and match day ground regulations.

Good written and verbal skills.

Flexibility to adapt to operational requirements.

High administrative competence.

Experience in assisting in the investigation of complaints and customer-related issues.

The ability to work independently to deadlines as well as collaborate in small teams.

The Employee must at all times carry out his/her responsibilities with due regard to Chelsea FC policies and procedures in particular Health & Safety, Financial Authorisation, Confidentiality and with regard to the Data Protection Act. The Employee must act to protect all young people and vulnerable adults that are in their care or attending the Company's premises. The Employee must report any misconduct or suspected misconduct to the Safeguarding Lead.
