GENERAL STATEMENT/ ORGANIZATIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Seasonal workers help maintain the METRGRO Farm for the summer season. Work begins mid-May into June and continues through end of August.

Works under the direction of the METROGRO Farm Administrator.
TYPICAL DUTIES:
Duties are not limited to and include the following:

1. Weeding, trimming, and planting.

2. Operating string trimmers, lawn mowers up to 52" wide, cultivators, rototillers and chainsaws.

3. Hand and shovel digging.

4. Mixing, applying/spraying herbicides.

5. Moving rock and landscape materials.

6. Hosing (with up to 1 1/4" hose size) inside clarifiers, aeration basins and cleaning messes.

7. Sweeping and general clean up.

8. Detail cleaning which may include wiping down piping, cabinets, walls, tile utilizing cleaning chemicals.

9. Operate small gas and/or electric vehicles.

10. Any other assigned rudimentary skilled tasks.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications

Valid Colorado driver's license and minimum sixteen years of age.

Desired Qualifications

Experience in landscape and grounds work desired.
