Details:
To perform duties in operating all mechanical and biological processes of the wastewater treatment plant; to ensure compliance with District and mandated wastewater treatment quality standards; to monitor and maintain plant and system operation records; and to perform a variety of duties relative to assigned area of responsibility and in general any other tasks assigned to that individual by the Manager. Specifications are not intended to reflect all duties performed within the job.

Qualifications:
Preferred candidates should have a Level A, B, C or D Wastewater certification, a minimum of two years experience in water or wastewater treatment facility operations, plus a high school diploma (or equivalent), supplemented by college level courses in biology or related fields. Working knowledge of SCADA, plus computer skills in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook preferred. Must also possess a valid drivers license and have the ability to obtain a Colorado CDL license within six months of hire. Any combination of experience, training, or education that provides the required knowledge and abilities is preferred but willing to train the right candidate. It is important to have good verbal and written communication skills and be a self-starter. Successful candidates must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Comments:
Excellent benefit package and opportunities for advancement.
Non-exempt $16.76 / Hr. - $33.11 / Hr.
Salary will be dependent upon qualifications and experience.
