Widefield Water and Sanitation District (WWSD) is offering an exciting opportunity in Colorado Springs, Colorado. WWSD is seeking a Wastewater Operator with a Class D Wastewater Treatment or Class 1 Collections Certification. Candidates need one year of experience in the maintenance and repair of a wastewater treatment plant and collection system. The District will consider entry level trainee applicants. This position will be responsible for operating the plant, working in the collection system, and working in the laboratory on a rotational basis. We are seeking an experienced wastewater operator who desires to train and share their knowledge with other operators, an operator with a high level of technical understanding who can lead by example.
