The City of Fruita, Colorado is currently seeking a Colorado Certified Wastewater Operator(s) to perform a variety of skilled technical duties and semi skilled labor in the operation and maintenance of the City's 2.3 MGD treatment facility. This facility is a BNR process with ATAD solids handling.

Submit completed City applications and resume’ to Human Resources, City of Fruita, 325 E. Aspen, Fruita, CO 81521. First review of applications will begin February 20, 2017 and the position(s) will remain open until filled.

Qualifications:
Candidates must have a valid Driver’s License and able to obtain a Class “D”, or higher, Wastewater Treatment Operator Certification issued by the Colorado Wastewater Treatment Facility Operator Certification Board.

Motivated individuals with education/experience in natural sciences, skilled labor trades, or other related fields are encouraged to apply. Starting hourly rate varies from $15.15 to $21.21, depending upon certification level and experience.
