The Eagle Shield Water Treatment Plant Operator shall perform technical and direct work in the operation and maintenance of a 14 mgd Water Treatment Plant utilizing coagulation, ballasted flocculation and sedimentation, mixed media filtration, and disinfection processes. This position may exercise technical and functional supervision over lower level staff. A minimum requirement is the possession of a Montana Class 2B or 3B Operator certification, or equivalent certification in other states, or the ability to obtain this certification within six months of becoming eligible. Work is performed under the general supervision of the Senior/Lead Water Treatment Plant Operator.
