The South Adams County Water and Sanitation District is dedicated to providing affordable, sustainable water resources including quality water, wastewater and related services to our customers in a manner that promotes public health, safety and quality of life. We are looking to add an individual to our Maintenance department.

This working Foreman position directs routine and unplanned jetting and video inspection projects to ensure the proper operations of the District’s collection system. They will supervise, schedule and oversee personnel on assigned collection system, lift station, jet, camera and collection system condition assessment, cleaning program, and vapor-rooting program as well as the repair and maintenance of the District’s jet and closed circuit television (CCTV) programs and equipment. They will perform corrective and preventative maintenance on equipment, respond to customer complaints and concerns as well as perform jetting and CCTV operations.


Qualifications:
This position works under minimal supervision, uses time efficiently and provides functional guidance and mentoring to others. The qualified candidate should have expert knowledge of operation and maintenance of collection and lift station systems, equipment and controls, mechanical principles, and hand and power tools. Proficiency with MS Office is necessary. Jetting and camera computer applications experience is needed.

A minimum of eight (8) years water or wastewater utility system or related industry experience required. At least two years of supervisory experience is preferred. Possession of Colorado Class 4 Collection Systems Certification is required as well as a Class A CDL will be required within one year of the date of hire.

This position is primarily a working foreman field position. Ability to lift up to 60 lbs frequently is necessary.

Successful candidate will be required to complete a drug screen and background check prior to employment.

Salary Range: DOQ/certifications 25.77-38.65/hr
