Details:
The Niagara Falls Police Department is currently seeking to fill a full-time STRIVE Project Coordinator position. The STRIVE Project Coordinator will work with local partners in support of the Division of Criminal Justice Services Statewide STRIVE program.
The Project Coordinator will work on-site at the Niagara Intelligence and Crime Analysis Center under a staffing contract with the Finn Institute.

Responsibilities:
Lead and Sustain a Coordinated Community Response (CCR):
-Convene and engage stakeholders, including law enforcement, domestic violence service providers, probation, and community organizations, to ensure a unified, survivor-centered approach.
-Oversee the development and ongoing refinement of a comprehensive framework to map resources, identify service gaps, and align stakeholder
roles using tools like the Sequential Intercept Model (SIM).
Implement Evidence-Based Strategies:
-Coordinate the selection, application, and adaptation of evidence-based approaches such as the Lethality Assessment Program (LAP), Domestic Violence High-Risk Teams (DVHRT), and Intimate Partner Violence Intervention (IPVI).
-Ensure strategies are tailored to the community\'s needs and remain trauma­ informed and culturally responsive
Drive Continuous Improvement:
-Facilitate ongoing assessment of system and community needs, resource capacity, and stakeholder readiness.
-Regularly evaluate program outcomes, identify barriers, and refine strategies based on feedback and data.
Foster Collaboration and Communication:
-Serve as the liaison between STRIVE stakeholders and the Division of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS).
-Lead regular CCR and STRIVE Executive Board meetings, maintaining alignment and accountability across agencies.
-Attend Domestic Violence Regional Council Meetings
Support Training and Capacity Building:
-Identify and address training needs for CCR stakeholders, promoting professional development in evidence-based practices.
-Coordinate technical assistance and ensure alignment with STRIVE objectives.
Monitor and Report Progress:
Oversee the implementation of protocols for intake, referrals, and case management.
Ensure timely and accurate submission of documentation, including meeting minutes, quarterly Implementation Assessment Tool (IAT) reports, and
program evaluations.





Qualifications:
Recommended Qualifications:
- At least five to ten years of experience in human services, criminal justice, or a related field, including five years in a supervisory role.
- Management experience with success in multi-agency collaboration and grants management.
- A degree in Social Work, Criminal Justice, or a closely related field, plus at least five years of professional experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Proficiency in coordinating and sustaining multi-agency collaborative frameworks.
- Strong understanding of trauma-informed, survivor-centered approaches and evidence­ based IPV strategies.
- Skilled in using assessment tools and frameworks, such as resource mapping, the Sequential Intercept Model (SIM), and lethality assessments.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills to oversee dynamic, multi­ disciplinary initiatives.
- Ability to synthesize data and feedback into actionable strategies for improvement.
- Effective communicator with the ability to foster collaboration and maintain productive relationships across sectors.
- Proficiency in standard software tools (e.g., Microsoft Office) for documentation and reporting.


Comments:
Compensation:
- Starting salary $70,000.00.
- Employer-subsidized health insurance in compliance with the Affordable Care Act, dental insurance, and life insurance.

- Twelve (12) paid holidays plus seventeen (17) leave days annually.
