Your Role:
A Land Development/Site Design Project Manager with experience in civil engineering analysis, design and project management on a variety of municipal, commercial and private development projects, including stormwater, complete/green streets projects, multiuse paths, grading, water and sewer pipelines, pump stations, retaining walls, bridges and related ancillary structures.
Civil Engineering infrastructure design that includes grading, hydraulic design, erosion control, storm drainage, water distribution, and sanitary sewer collection systems.
Work directly with clients, project design teams and technical support staff to collaboratively design projects.
Perform conceptual and detailed design calculations and analyses.
Support preparation of detailed engineering reports and supporting documents.
Support preparation of construction drawings, specifications and cost estimates.
Ensure standard engineering practices and inclusion of appropriate documentation on various reports and design projects.
Evaluate alternatives, resolve technical issues and interface with other engineering disciplines.
Resolve questions, plan, coordinate, and execute work in a safe, timely, cost effective and compliant manner.
Provide construction support services including field meetings, submittal review, shop drawing review, respond to Request for Information (RFI).
Assist in the preparation of proposals and fee estimates.
Monitor project financial reports and review monthly invoicing.
Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
BS in Civil Engineering Required
10+ years of experience
Colorado professional engineering license required (or PE in another state with the ability to obtain CO PE within 6 months)
Knowledge of AASHTO Greenbook, CDOT and City/County standards.
Background will ideally include project work and process knowledge of grading and drainage (using Civil3D), hydrology and hydraulics, and street design.
Strong communication, report writing, organization, analytical and interpersonal skills.
Desired background to include experience with municipal, commercial, or residential infrastructure projects that includes the design and permitting of the following types of projects: roadway, street, bikeway, erosion control, grading, storm drainage, water distribution, water quality and sanitary sewer collection systems.
Strong organizational skills
Ability to self-direct and self-check plan sets and reports
Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil3D, word processing and spreadsheet management programs with working knowledge of applicable codes.
Experience with Microsoft Office products such as Word and Excel

Salary/Wage Amount or Range:
PE: $130,000-$165,000, depending on experience
