Details:
Responsibilities of the Service Technician include, but are not limited to:
-Performs service, writes reports and helps identify customer solutions.
-Presents a good image of the company.
-Arrives at appointments on time.
-Inspects all equipment on site, looks for additional aftermarket needs or completes opportunities.
-Cleans up after the job and/or in the shop.
-Properly fills out and signs service report from the site.
-Builds relationships and provides world class customer experiences.
-Communicates to sales team any and all possible sales and partnership opportunities.
-Communicates daily with our service coordinator.
-Maintains a safe, clean, and orderly vehicle while meeting all company and governmental safety and environmental regulations.
-Attends and actively participates in service meetings.
-Keeps up on vocational and safety trainings.
Qualifications:
Qualifications of the Service Technician include, but are not limited to:
-Mechanical aptitude and desire to learn.
-1 - 3+ years of experience as a service technician or Wastewater Treatment Plant operator preferred, electrical knowledge a plus.
-Knowledge of electrical, PLC, VFD, and controls in general preferred.
-Broad knowledge and experience in the industry.
-Excellent skills in both verbal and written communication.
Ability to work both independently and within a team.
-Good time management skills.
-A clean driving record is a must.
-Professional certifications a plus.
-Education degree(s) required: High School Diploma or equivalent.
-Acceptable driving record required according to company guidelines.
Additional Information:
-Physical Demand: The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs unassisted and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs assisted.
-Ability to work in various industrial environments including extremes in hot and cold temperatures with continuous walking, bending, reaching, climbing, and kneeling. Must wear and use proper PPE at all times.
-Travel: Travel inside Western PA and WV, except for training at manufacturing facilities as needed. Acceptable driving record required according to company guidelines.
-Education: High School or GED.
