JOB SUMMARY
This non-exempt position is responsible for the electrical operation, repair, maintenance and preventive maintenance of the District's water and wastewater equipment and facilities; and the installation of new electrical devices at District facilities.

Qualifications:
Successful candidates must have three years’ experience as an electrician and experience with industrial and motor control applications. Colorado Journeyman’s License a plus. Experience with Variable Frequency Drives, Instrumentation Equipment, PLC’s, soft - start equipment and SCADA is highly desirable.

Must possess a valid driver’s license with a Motor Vehicle Record acceptable to the District’s insurance company. Must be able to obtain a class “B” CDL with Hazmat endorsement within one year of being hired. Must have a Motor Vehicle Record within the Acceptable rating according to the Vehicle Policy.


Comments:
Hiring Range: $23.35/hr and $35.16/hr, depending on experience and license. Range covers applicants with no license to Journeyman to Master Electrician. Excellent benefits include health, dental, vision and life insurance plus retirement plan.
