GENERAL SUMMARY
Under general supervision of the Assistant Police Chief, the Sr. Intelligence Analyst will coordinate, evaluate and analyze criminal intelligence information and suspicious activity reports collected by the Dallas Fort Worth (DFW) Airport Police and collaborating agencies to determine credibility and reliability of the information. The Sr. Intelligence Analyst will establish relationships with allied agencies to facilitate information sharing for the benefit of the Dallas Fort Worth Airport Police. Position requires US Citizenship with an active Secret or Top-Secret clearance.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Integrates intelligence information to disclose patterns, trends or evidence of criminal or terrorist activity.
* Determines the significance and reliability of incoming information.
* Performs analysis and evaluations of intelligence holdings to determine changes in criminal and terrorist capabilities, vulnerabilities and probable courses of action.
* Develops and establishes priority intelligence requirements for DFW Airport.
* Processes and generates threat assessments in the areas affecting DFW Airport.
* Assess security gaps and risks at airports.
* Initializes inquiries to obtain additional information when needed to thoroughly analyze a problem.
* Prepares reports, bulletins, intelligence products and oral presentations summarizing findings and conclusions based on interpretation of intelligence information for DFW stakeholders.
* Participates and/or leads in meetings with departmental personnel, other law enforcement agencies, and other intelligence agencies to exchange and develop intelligence information.
* Receives and processes reports and messages.
* Establishes and maintains systematic, cross-referenced intelligence records and files in accordance with state and federal laws.
* Performs other related duties as needed
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent with significant coursework in criminal justice, homeland security, emergency management, public administration, psychology, security studies or a related field.
* Five years of experience as an intelligence analyst in law enforcement, the intelligence community, or military.
* Must be able to travel and work flexible hours
* Possession of a valid driver's license.
* Position requires US Citizenship with an active Top-Secret clearance.
* Must obtain a Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) Airport Identification/Access Badge (badge) in accordance with Department of Homeland Security Transportation Security Administration (TSA) requirements in Chapter 49 of the Code of Federal Regulations Part 1500 et al., and the DFW Airport Airport Security Program within thirty (30) days from date of employment and maintain qualification for a SIDA badge upon each badge renewal.
* This is a designated safety sensitive position as defined in the DFW Airport Drug and Alcohol Administrative Policy and Procedure. Applicants selected for this position will be required to pass a drug test prior to employment and to submit to drug screening on a random basis during the length of their employment in the safety sensitive position.
* Ability to obtain and maintain an FBI Criminal Justice Information System (CJIS) clearance.

* Expertise to function within the intelligence community.
* Experience/background from an intelligence agency, law enforcement, military, or comparable experience.
* Proficient writing skills.
* Experience/background in publication development and public speaking.
* Considerable knowledge of intelligence-related principles, practices, procedures, methods, and equipment.
* Knowledge of applicable local, state and federal laws, rules, and regulations.
* Ability to follow oral and written instructions quickly.
* Ability to prepare accurate reports, maintain records, and operate a personal computer
* Ability to author and deliver briefings to personnel, supervisors, and executive management.
