Details:
This is a full-time on-site Instructor role at the University of Central Missouri, based in Warrensburg, MO. The Instructor will be responsible for developing and delivering engaging, effective course content, assessing student performance, and fostering a supportive, inclusive classroom atmosphere. Other responsibilities include maintaining current knowledge of the instructional field, contributing to curriculum development, and collaborating with colleagues to meet departmental goals.

Qualifications:
Three years plus of practical experience in crime analysis, juvenile justice, and/or law are highly desired
Strong teaching abilities, including curriculum development and delivering lectures
Proficient in classroom management and fostering student engagement
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively mentor and support students
Ability to demonstrate expertise in the subject matter with up-to-date industry knowledge
Strong organizational and time management skills
Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in an educational setting
Master’s degree or higher in the relevant field; previous teaching experience is preferred
Familiarity with educational technologies and online learning platforms is a plus
