The Instrumentation Mechanic assists in the installation, maintenance, and repair of basic instrumentation and control systems. This entry-level position supports the Instrumentation Section by performing routine tasks and gaining hands-on experience with various instruments and control systems.

Key Functions:
• Assist in the installation and maintenance of instrumentation equipment under supervision
• Perform routine inspections and basic troubleshooting of instruments
• Support calibration activities by preparing equipment and documenting results
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the instrumentation workshop
• Follow safety protocols and standard operating procedures during all tasks
• Document maintenance activities and report any anomalies to senior staff


Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
• High School diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years experience in electronics, electrical controls, HVAC, or instrumentation related to process control equipment or other closely related experience
OR
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a 2-year Trade School in Electronics or HVAC

Preferences:
• Prior experience or internship in an industrial maintenance setting
