The SLMPD is excited to announce an opening in their Crime Analysis Unit. This small-but-mighty group tackles everything from tactical crime bulletins to long-term intelligence casework, and they are delighted to add another member to their growing team.

The ideal candidate would have prior crime analysis experience, but please don not let a lack of formal experience prevent you from applying. If you are just getting into the CA field but have other skills to offer (Python, SQL, ArcGIS, etc.), we would love to hear from you. We are primarily looking for a highly motivated individual with a positive attitude, a desire to learn, and an interest in tackling crime from an analytical perspective.

You will get to work with the very best group of people in an enjoyable, flexible work environment. The analysts at the SLMPD are highly valued by the Command Staff and are well respected throughout the department.

The starting salary is just shy of $60K with the ability to go higher based on experience/skills. It is also worth mentioning that STL is an extremely affordable and fun place to live.

Salary:
$59,956 – $93,886
