Details:
Position will report to the Administrator, Office of Natural Lands Management (ONLM), or other full-time ONLM employees and be trained in performing the following: botanical field surveys of rare and endangered plant species regulated by the DEP; biotic and environmental impact assessments; habitat suitability assessments; review of plans and environmental documents; report preparation; maintenance of essential records; attendance at internal and external meetings. Knowledge and background in botany, ecology, natural resource management, invasive plant species, conservation, or related discipline preferred. Persons with valid pesticide applicator license and herbicide use experience preferred.
Qualifications:
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree in one of the Physical Sciences, Environmental Sciences/Studies, Chemical Sciences, Biological Sciences, or in Environmental Planning, Environmental Policy, or Physical Geography.
