Alaska Eyecare Professionals is seeking a part-time optometrist to help support our growing Anchorage practice. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced OD looking for a flexible schedule while practicing advanced medical optometry with state-of-the-art technology.
This position is ideal for optometrists seeking one to three clinic days per week, including semi-retired practitioners, military or VA providers looking to moonlight, or doctors wanting additional clinical opportunities without ownership or management responsibilities.
Our practice emphasizes comprehensive medical eye care and is equipped with:
OCT
Optos ultra-widefield imaging
ERG
Meibography
IPL/RF for dry eye
Digital refraction
Specialty contact lenses
Ophthalmic lasers
Dedicated scribes and experienced clinical staff

As our Anchorage practice continues to grow, there is potential for additional clinic days and expanded responsibilities for the right candidate.
Qualifications:
Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited institution
Eligible for or currently licensed to practice optometry in Alaska
Strong clinical and communication skills
Interest in medical optometry and collaborative patient care
Experience with glaucoma, anterior segment disease, dry eye, retina, or specialty contact lenses is preferred but not required
