This is technical work involving responsibility for the day to day repair and maintenance operations of the District’s Drinking Water Treatment Facilities including mechanical, electrical, electronics, controls, hydraulic, and HVAC systems. The employee in this class exercises considerable independent judgment in scheduling and directing treatment facilities repair and maintenance activities. Position open until filled. Qualifications:
At least 2 years’ experience working in an industrial mechanic setting.
Possession of a Class “A” Water Operator Certificate is preferred but not required. Must live within 45 minutes of the plants in Longmont, CO. and be willing and able to work nights, weekends, and holidays and be on-call on a rotating basis.
