The Supervising Analyst is responsible for overseeing the operation in the North Country County Crime Analysis Center. This oversight includes supervision of personnel and daily operations. This position will supervise 2/3 full-time staff (Crime Research Analysts). The Center is staffed with a team of crime analysts and sworn law enforcement members who support area law enforcement agencies in their efforts to track and reduce Part I Crime.

Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Criminal Justice, Criminology or a related field plus (2) years of experience with Geographic Information Systems, crime analysis, database management and related research OR

•A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Geographic Information Systems or a related field plus (2) two years of experience in crime analysis, research, and interpretation of law enforcement data.

••Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
