The South Adams County Water & Sanitation District (SACWSD), dedicated to providing affordable and sustainable water resources to its customers, is seeking a qualified individual for a Development Foreman positon.

The working Development Foreman performs inspections, locates, pre-construction utility coordination, plan review, and project walk-throughs to ensure proper construction and protection of the District’s systems. They also provide oversight, scheduling, direction and training to members of the development and locate team members. In addition, they will coordinate personnel between development and maintenance tasks.


Qualifications:
Qualified candidates should have a High School Diploma OR equivalent combination of education and experience. Valid, current Colorado Driver’s License required.

A minimum of eight (8) years of water or wastewater utility system experience or related field is necessary. Lead or supervisory experience helpful. Colorado Distribution and Collection System Certifications, level 4 are required. Advanced knowledge on water/wastewater systems construction practices and design specifications and construction standards.

Proficient computer skills including MS Office. Solid problem solving and communication skills required. Solid ability to adapt to changing priorities, procedures, conditions and circumstances.

This position requires work in a variety of locations and conditions. Ability to lift up to 60 lbs frequently is necessary.
