WWE has an immediate opening in our Denver office for a water/wastewater civil design engineer with 5 years of experience. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on a range of water engineering projects for an engineering firm that has operated in Colorado for 57 years.
The successful candidate will work with a diverse staff of experienced engineers on a wide range of projects such as water and wastewater treatment process design/evaluation, potable/non-potable/reuse/pipeline design, dam design, groundwater supply system design, site grading, storm drainage design, dewatering/groundwater management design, aquifer recharge and permitting, water and wastewater pump station design, water source supply studies, contract administration of civil engineering projects and conducting field observation of projects under construction.

Non-degreed individuals or those without the minimal experienced need not apply.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
• 5 years of experience including at least 3 years full-time consulting engineering experience with knowledge of design and construction practices and time performing field/construction observation.
• Able to develop construction plans, specifications and bid documents, evaluate engineering problems and write technical reports. Ability to work with limited supervision.
• E.I.T. and ability to obtain Colorado P.E. in the future.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Experience with AutoCAD®, Civil3D® (preferred).
