The Pinery Water and Wastewater District is seeking an energetic electrician who will provide exceptional customer service. The Pinery WSD is a water and wastewater service provider located in eastern Douglas County dedicated to providing “Quality Water for LIFE” to nearly 15,000 customers. General duties include but are not limited to:
• Troubleshooting and repairing electrical equipment spanning from 24 VDC – 480 VAC.
• Observing functionality of installed equipment, detecting hazards and the need for adjustments or replacement as needed to prevent downtime
• Performing preventative maintenance to keep production at optimal levels, maintaining accurate records, and preparing recommendations for equipment replacement before failure.
• Installing, modifying, maintaining, and calibrating soft starters, VFD’s, magnetic starters, and across the line starters.
• Reviewing new construction/remodel documents, inspecting and documenting electrical contractors’ work in the District.
• Being available to be in an on-call rotation 24 hours per day.
• Performing other duties as assigned or required.
Qualifications:

• Be capable of multi-tasking, thinking outside of the box, and maintaining a positive attitude;
• Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
• Utilize a “safety” mindset when working;
• Have a strong sense of collaboration and teamwork, yet thrive when working independently;
• Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness in work products;
• Have previous industrial electrical experience;
• Be willing to admit what they do not know, and have the desire to learn;
• Have experience using and be well versed in Microsoft Office software products;
• Hold a valid State of Colorado Electrical Journeyman/Master License; and
• Have a High School diploma or G.E.D.
Comments:
Must satisfactorily pass a criminal background check and drug test prior to commencement of employment. Compensation is dependent upon qualifications; starting pay is targeted between $25.50-$37.50 per hour. The Pinery WSD offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision and a generous retirement saving plan where employees are immediately eligible for a 6% employee contribution and 6% company match.
