Entry level to Class 4. Position performs general maintenance work on wastewater collection systems including jetting/root cutting as well as CCTV video inspections. 2013 CCTV van is equipped with state of the art HD Camera as well pan and tilt cameras. Utility locates and emergency after-hours calls.

This is a full-time position with occasional overtime required. No night shifts unless called out. Rotating On-Call, weekend and holiday schedules. Starting wages dependent on highest level of certification, degrees and experience
Level 1 or Class D - $17.81-$24.39
Level 2 or Class C - $19.18-$26.27
Level 3 or Class B - $21.27-$29.78
Level 4 or Class A - $24.10-$33.42

Position is for entry level up to a Class 4 Collection Operator. The position will work under general supervision to perform the operation and maintenance of sanitary lift stations and related equipment, structures and grounds; and to perform other related work as assigned. Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, check and survey pump station mechanical and electrical equipment. Operate a variety of electric and hand tools to troubleshoot pumps, motors and related equipment. Use appropriate safety precautions and equipment.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION: Any combination equivalent to experience and education that could likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way of gaining the knowledge and abilities outlined above is: Equivalent to graduation from high school and six months experience in construction or maintenance work.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Must possess valid Colorado driver's license with a clean MVR and the ability to acquire a Class C commercial in six (6) months. Class 1 Wastewater Collection Operator certified by the Colorado Plant Operators Certification Board or ability to obtain within the first year. Must be available to work overtime and to respond to emergency calls and work varying hours, including weekends, holidays, and days off and perform stand-by duty needed.
