Widefield Water and Sanitation District (WWSD) is offering an exciting opportunity in Colorado Springs, Colorado. WWSD is seeking a Wastewater Operator with a minimum of a Class B Certification. Candidates need a minimum of five years of experience in the maintenance and repair of a wastewater treatment plant and collection system. Although the focus will be on operating the plant, the position will also work in the collection system on a rotational basis. We are seeking an experienced wastewater operator who desires to train and share their knowledge with other operators, an operator with a high level of technical understanding who can lead by example.

The District’s Wastewater Plant is scheduled to be fully upgraded in 2019 to include biological nutrient and phosphorus removal.
