Details:
Soldier Canyon Water Treatment Authority (SCWTA) is a board operated 50 MGD conventional water treatment plant located in Fort Collins, Colorado. SCWTA is seeking an operator to operate the plant for 12 hour and 8 hour shifts.
Starting Hourly Pay Range based on qualifications:
Class D Operator $15.50 - $20.00
Class C Operator $20.00 - $24.00
Class B Operator $24.00 - $28.00
Class A Operator $28.00 - $30.00


Qualifications:
Applicant must have knowledge of water principles, techniques and plant operating practices; maintenance of plant equipment; federal, state and local laws, ordinances and regulations related to water treatment; occupational hazards and the safety precautions of the work. Applicants must demonstrate the ability to detect flaws in equipment; maintain records and logs; operate a computer; operate and care for hand tools. Must have demonstrated the ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions; and maintain effective working relationships with other employees. Completion of high school or equivalent is required. A valid Driver’s License is required. Applicant must have a valid Colorado Water Operator Certification.
