Plum Creek Water Reclamation Authority is seeking a dedicated, detail oriented Operator to collaborate with our team in our mission to maintain excellent water quality while protecting the environment.

PCWRA is a BNR water reclamation plant with capacity to treat 6.44 MGD. We are currently engaged in an expansion of an additional 3 MGD.

Operators are required to participate in a rotating on-call schedule and must live within 30 minutes of the plant.

Operators perform skilled work in the operation and maintenance of water reclamation systems, while maintaining maximum efficiency of plant equipment including preventative, predictive and emergency maintenance while taking great pride in plant cleanliness and appearance.

Qualifications:
A successful candidate would have, at minimum, the following required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
 Thorough, detail oriented and well organized.
 Mechanical aptitude and knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions pertaining to all phases of maintenance in a wastewater treatment plant utilizing mechanical and electrical equipment.
 Ability to observe, monitor and correct as needed, compliance with operating and/or safety standards.
 State of Colorado Wastewater D certification must be obtained within one year after date of hire.
 Obtain State of Colorado Wastewater C certification within three years after date of hire.
 Valid Colorado driver’s license with an acceptable MVR.

Comments:
Qualifications, duties, responsibilities and salary range are dependent on experience. This position could be an Operator I, II or III. Classes are not dependent on license level, however an Operator must be A certified to qualify for the Operator III.
