Details:
Performs a wide variety of semi-skilled and skilled work in operation, maintenance and repair of the City’s wastewater collection system and treatment plant.

Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements: Requires a high school diploma or equivalent; at least one year of general maintenance experience; possession of a valid CO Driver License; possession of or the ability to obtain a valid Colorado Class B CDL Driver’s License within 6 months of employment; possession of or the ability to obtain within one year of employment a State of Colorado Class I Wastewater Collections Certificate; possession of or actively pursuing a State of Colorado Class D Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator’s License within one year of employment; knowledge of applicable safety procedures and regulations, including confined space; skill in operating light and heavy equipment used to install and maintain the municipal sewer system, such as sewer jet/vac unit, backhoes, loaders, snow plows, dump trucks, mowers, and tractors, ability to read and interpret City street signs, locator maps, blue prints and specifications; ability to prepare & maintain accurate records; ability to lift, push, and pull up to 117 lbs., and the ability to work on-call after scheduled work hours. College level courses in chemistry, microbiology, mathematics, environmental health or other related courses are highly desirable. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered. Hiring salary $16.49 - $27.00/hour; salary commensurate with qualifications and experience
