The City of Grand Junction is actively recruiting a dynamic, data-driven Asset Manager to lead the Utilities Department's asset management program. This position will support the City's strategic directive of effective planning and infrastructure management. The ideal candidate will engage operations, maintenance, engineering, and information technology staff to develop and implement a best-practice asset management framework that will improve asset reliability and optimize operational spending and capital investment. The candidate will have the opportunity to utilize high-end enterprise asset management (EAM) information systems and tools to evolve the organization from a corrective maintenance paradigm to a predictive, risk-based model with the goal of improving service to Grand Junction's Utilities customers.

Qualifications:
Four (4) years of increasingly responsible experience in the maintenance and rehabilitation/replacement of water supply, water and wastewater treatment, and sewer collection/water distribution systems. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in civil engineering or a related field. Other combinations of experience and education that meet the minimum requirements may be substituted. Possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid Colorado driver's license. Certified Maintenance & Reliability Technician (CMRT) or Certified Reliability Leader (CRL), preferred. Possession of, or ability to obtain, registration as a Professional Engineer in the State of Colorado within 1 year of employment.
