POSITION PURPOSE
The Program Coordinator II – Water Bill Assistance position is responsible for working with the City of Westminster's utility customers to review and process applications to the City's utility assistance programs. This position is part time, non-benefited position. Hours may vary but will generally be 10-20 hours per week, during regular City office hours (7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday).
The full salary range for this position is stated above. The starting range of pay is dependent on qualifications and experience of each individual candidate.
Qualifications:
Education, Experience, Skills, Formal Training, Licenses, and Certifications
Required:
High school diploma or GED
Minimum one year customer service experience, both in-person and on the phone
Minimum of one year of work in an office setting using Microsoft Office software products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Strong writing and presentation skills
Preferred:
Experience with Assistance Programs
Related experience in Utility Billing programs or similar
Related experience working with a water or sewer utility
Any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience, which would provide the required knowledge and skills, may be considered.
