Details:
Installs, programs, maintains, and documents logic programming on all PLCs and RUTs controlling plant and field equipment. Programs, maintains, and documents HMI interface applications on management stations.
Participates with internal team members, operators and contractors in the management, development and administration of automation and SCADA systems for existing facilities.
Assists in maintaining accuracy and consistency of I&C wiring diagrams, schematics and other related system documentation.
Troubleshoots and advises all departments on instrumentation and control systems issues with field devices, PLCs, RTUs, telemetry/network links and operator interfaces and provides technical support resources to resolve problems.
Debugs, updates, and implements programming changes to SCADA and automation systems.
Troubleshoots and maintains District radio/SCADA/telemetry communications systems.
Communicates complex technical information (verbally and written) to team members, staff, and management.


Qualifications:
An Associate Degree in Computer Science and 2 years' experience programming PLCs and RTUs in an industrial environment. Minimum 2 years field experience in Industrial Control Systems troubleshooting and repair. In lieu of a degree, 4 or more years experience programming PLCs and RTUs in an industrial environment and 20 hours of formal training in industry related classes.
Must possess a valid drivers license and a Motor Vehicle Record within the Acceptable or no less than Borderline Rating according to the Vehicle Policy.
