Parker Water and Sanitation District is accepting applications for a full-time Project Manager for Engineering Department.

Job Summary
This exempt position plans, organizes, and leads projects within the District; including planning and design for capital projects and programs. This position will be responsible for managing, understanding, applying, and directing the design of projects associated with conventional and advanced water/wastewater treatment systems.

Some duties include but are not limited to:
- Project management including planning, design, construction management, budget and schedule management for capital improvement projects, planning projects, and GIS and modeling efforts.
- Ensures compliance with design and government regulations.
- Determines and establishes construction standards and materials.
- Works with consulting engineers, contractors, and other agencies to explain, interpret, and create District design requirements, codes, and specifications.
- Publishes requests for proposals and makes recommendations for selection of consultants and contractors.

Qualifications:
Successful Candidates will have:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years increasing responsible professional level engineering experience in water and wastewater projects. An equivalent combination of education, training and experience that demonstrates required knowledge, skills and abilities may be considered.
- Licenses, Certificates or Equipment Required: Registration in the State of Colorado as a Professional Engineer.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and a Motor Vehicle Record within the acceptable limits of the District's insurance company.
- This position may require the incumbent to occasionally use personal equipment (e.g. vehicle, cell phone, tools, etc.) in the course of their employment.

Comments:
Hiring range: $68,000 - $98,000/year dependent on prior knowledge and experience. Excellent benefits include health, dental, vision and life insurance, plus retirement plan.
