Job Summary
The Assistant Director for the Security Operations Command Center assists the Director with various tasks. They assist in the development and implementation of operations to keep team members safe, and they assist with leading the teams in the Command Center. The Assistant Director must be able to problem solve and think critically while executing and making decisions.


Qualifications:
Responsibilities
Assist with the business needs of the Director
Assist with leading team members of the Rock Security Command Center (SA, SO, Intel, Investigations)
Assist with overseeing the development and implementation of security operations to guard against theft, vandalism, sabotage, violence, or other threats against the client, organization, or its team members
Ensures that new team members have the proper security programs and clearance needed for their roles
Identify security weaknesses and implement procedures for mitigating losses
Work with law enforcement as necessary
Assist with overseeing CCTV operations in the Rock Security Command Center including providing approval for review or dissemination of CCTV
Initiate activities to develop team bonding, out of the box thinking and boosting team moral
Work with BCP, emergency services, and contract security to plan and respond to emergency fire prevention and safety issues
24/7/365 on call
Communicate with high level leaders, which includes but is not limited to: Chairman, C-level, Directors, etc.
Provide guidance and assistance in team management when needed. (including schedule issues, shift issues etc.)
Research any new technology/programs that may help the Rock Security Command Center
Establish and create external and internal contacts for the Rock Security Command Center (including private and public-sector contacts)
Assist with meetings
Work off-hours

Technology and Resource Knowledge
Microsoft Office Suite
Civil and criminal codes, law, mandates and regulations knowledge
Investigations and open-source intelligence knowledge

Requirements
3 years of experience in police, fire, military service, or security operations
Bachelor’s degree or related experience
CPR/First Aid/AED Certification preferred
