The Eagle River Water and Sanitation District provides high quality, affordable drinking water to its customers to protect public health and the natural surroundings. The Customer Service Department at Eagle River Water Sanitation District is responsible for delivering quality service in the areas of utility billing and customer support.
We are looking for someone who wants to work for the rest of the summer and through the fall months as a Seasonal Customer Service Assistant. This is an exciting opportunity for a personable, organized and solution oriented professional who has a commitment to customer service and wants to gain some exposure to our industry. This position will help with administrative tasks to support the goals of the Customer Service Department including the Backflow Prevention and Cross Connection Control Program (BPCCC).
The ideal candidate for this role must have strong customer service skills and be able to thrive in a fast paced environment with a highly productive team of fun and friendly people. What You Will Do:
• Schedule work for meter and backflow techs
• Track maintenance and labor
• Create and distribute letter batches and customer follow up
• Data entry into CIS of backflow device tests and other entries
• Phone support
• Fill in to help the Customer Service Department on administrative tasks and special projects as needed
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Required to follow all District safety and security policies and wear Personal Protective Equipment as required by the job duties


Qualifications:
Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or GED required. College Degree or Associates preferred but not required.
• Administrative and organizational skills required.
• Strong communication skills and customer service skills required.
• Must be comfortable with office equipment and computers and have some experience with the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Geographical knowledge of district service area preferred.
• Customer service experience required.
• Must possess a valid Colorado Driver's License and be insurable by District standards.
• Required to follow all District safety and security policies and wear Personal Protective Equipment as required by the job duties


Comments:
The pay for this role is $16-$18/hour. Seasonal employees are eligible for a monthly $300 housing stipend.
All District employees must submit to a pre-employment drug screen and extensive background check.
