GENERAL STATEMENT/ ORGANIZATIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
4-Day Work Week Available in beautiful, thriving Denver, CO with weekends off!
All PPE, Tools, and FR Clothing, with daily laundry service, provided.

Assists Journeyman in performing skilled work in the maintenance, repair, and installation of electrical, instrumentation, pneumatic, and Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and fieldbus networks. Assists in the troubleshooting of technical and/or potentially hazardous processes and equipment. Works under the direction of a supervisor.
TYPICAL DUTIES:
Performs basic installation, modification and maintenance or repairs of electrical, electronic, and pneumatic systems such as power distribution equipment, motors, motor controls, power supplies, sensors, alarms, HVAC systems, automatic sampling equipment, metering devices, electronic hardware, and periphery equipment.
Enrolling and completing assigned college curriculum with a passing grade. Completing training requirements as defined from the Training Advisory Committee (TAC).
Assist with logic programs and create programmable logic controller (PLC) projects from start to finish. Including testing, installation, wiring, conduit, enclosures, and control panel building. Assist in the troubleshooting of PLC issues to determine causes of errors and resolve problems. Performs related computer duties such as minor programming, logic or control changes, and system updates.
Assist in the installation of control devices such as actuators, variable frequency drives (VFD), distributed control systems (DCS).
Assist in the installation, modification, and maintenance repairs and calibrates electronic instruments including pressure, flow, level, temperature, vibration, air monitoring and analytical equipment monitoring CL2, NH3, TSS, PH, and DO.
Assist in the troubleshooting, repair, installation, and design of low voltage (<1000 volts) to medium (1000 to 100,000 volts) voltage control and distribution equipment. Including but not limited to switchgear, load centers, MCCs, panelboards and transformers.
Assist in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting different communication networks including, but not limited to Ethernet/IP, Ethernet TCP/IP, ControlNet, DeviceNet, Profibus, Modbus, and HART.
Assist in the, configuration, calibration, repair, and monitor telemetry equipment including antennas, lighting protection, and radio devices. Performs preventative maintenance and repair devices both on site and at remote sites.
Works from complex engineering drawings to complete projects and assigned work.
Performs other related duties as required.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications
Graduation from High School or equivalent diploma. Minimum of two years in Electrical or Instrumentation apprenticeship program or four years of relevant electrical or instrumentation experience. Or, completion of degree program in related technology and an additional two years of relevant electrical or instrumentation experience. Some knowledge and experience with standard practices, principles, methods, materials, tools and electronic test equipment used in the electrical, solid-state electronic and pneumatic instrument trades. Some knowledge of the National Electrical Code and the hazards and safety precautions peculiar to the electrical trade. Some knowledge and experience of control systems including, but not limited to PLC, DCUs, and relay logic. Knowledge of P&IDs, loop drawings, and control schematics. Ability to organize and coordinate work assignments. Good verbal and written communication skills.

Desired Qualifications
Certified as Journeyman Electrician. Advanced education in fields related to the job (electrical, electronic, pneumatic systems, leadership training).
