Job Details
1. Provide oversight, leadership and direction for the strategic planning, research and assessment of the College’s activities and operations. Establish the vision, goals, objectives, policies, procedures and action plans for overall institutional effectiveness and accountability that are consistent with the College’s strategic plan. 
2. Work collaboratively with faculty, students, and institutional personnel to ensure broad involvement in data driven planning, goal setting, plan implementation and assessment.
3. Oversee and facilitate the planning and execution of assessment studies undertaken college-wide, with specific emphasis on the data collection and analysis, with the use of spreadsheets, tables, charts, statistics, written reports, and software-generated reports.
4. Research best practices in institutional effectiveness, planning and assessment to provide expertise for developing, measuring, analyzing, and improving student learning and unit-specific outcomes to academic, administrative and other relevant assessment team members.
5. Lead and develop the assessment team in the process of blueprinting scannable exams, tests, surveys, and rubrics to program/unit and student learning outcomes to expedite data collection.
6. Plan and coordinate the training and ongoing support of academic and administrative personnel on the use and navigation of online assessment program or other relevant receptacles of assessment information, as well as survey programs.
7. Provide strategic direction and leadership in curriculum planning and implementation of institutional and programmatic assessment and accreditation processes. Ensure that studies are designed and undertaken to assess institutional and program quality, enhance enrollment and retention, and meet accreditation and other external agency requirements.
8. Provide strategic direction and leadership in institutional research and the dissemination of data and analyses to drive continuous institutional improvement in accordance with College regulations, employment practices, and bargaining unit contracts.
9. Monitor relations with and oversee the development of reports for the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools. Advise the President and cabinet members of initiatives to be undertaken by the college to ensure compliance and to remain in good standing as a member institution.
10. Spearhead the research and compilation of “best practices” at other institutions of higher learning. Share and recommend research findings and “best practices” with the President’s Cabinet and Deans’ Council working with cabinet and council members to determine which are most appropriate and practicable for the college. Prepare reports on research findings and “best practices” for administrators, faculty and staff as directed.
11. Coordinate and implement a variety of special projects, as directed, designed to increase accountability, improve efficiency, and enhance the image of the college.
12. Work in close cooperation with the Development Office in the identification of grant funds for the achievement of institutional objectives.
13. Represent the President and the college at local, statewide and regional meetings, workshops, conferences and events as needed, in order to advance and safeguard institutional interests.
14. Handle and/or manage sensitive information and adhere to strict confidentiality at all times. 
15. Maintain strict confidentiality and security of staff, student, and client records.
16. Prepare routine, special and ancillary reports as required.
17. Perform other related duties as required.
