Job Details
Leads the effort in preparing and delivering the University’s enrollment reporting. Assists in planning and coordinating information reporting and information processing activities.

Assists in the development and utilization of enrollment forecasting, budget planning, revenue calculations and other operational models of higher education activity.

Provides programmatic and/or statistical modeling solutions to complex institutional challenges.  Delivers the solutions as requested and defined.

Designs, maintains and utilizes MS Access databases specifically for the department’s current and historical reporting requirements. 

Designs, maintains and utilizes MS Excel tools developed with and without Macros and Visual Basic programming.

Monitors, identifies and reports trends related to institutional indices and benchmarks.

Collects and analyzes data used in support of institutional planning and budgeting activities.

Performs extensive querying of data and authoring of reports using the University’s Cognos business intelligence software.

Queries and manipulates data from the University’s Ellucian Banner student information system and from other databases maintained in Microsoft Access.


Evaluates existing institutional processes and makes recommendations and/or provides system-based solutions to either streamline, replace, or repair this processes.

Prepares written reports and studies pertaining to enrollment and other higher education operating parameters for delivery to upper management of the University.

Collaborates with other offices within the University on cross-divisional research projects, where appropriate.

Assists in the collection of institutional data for use in survey responses supplied for media, publishers, government agencies and other external entities. 

Completes special projects and other duties as assigned.
