Brief Description
The Senior Enrollment Management Data and Information Analyst reports to the Center for DATA and supports the Vice Provost for Enrollment Management and Dean of the Graduate School to serve as team lead for operational reporting and analytic needs of undergraduate, graduate, and professional enrollment. This position is responsible for designing, conducting, reporting, and summarizing data and analytics related to student recruiting and admissions, student information, marketing analytics, enrollment management, financial aid, performance benchmarking, peer analysis, and other areas as required.

This position requires a proactive, dynamic, enthusiastic, and creative individual who enjoys research, the management of multiple projects with competing time demands, and interaction with end-users who possess varying levels of data comprehension.

This position works closely with staff in Enrollment Management and the Graduate School to advance collective institutional data-related needs.

Duties/ Responsibilities

Provides leadership in planning and developing analytical solutions to guide decision making and strategic planning throughout the enrollment management divisions. Presents analyses in formats appropriate for the intended audiences, including reports, presentations and in other ad-hoc formats as needed for the Enrollment Management and Graduate School. Coordinating with data and research professionals in the UNH Center for DATA, spearheads the creation of quarterly, annual and other reports. Ensures leadership and divisions are aware of their metrics as they relate to the completion of short and long-term goals.

Collaborates with IT professionals to identify and extract data for repeated and ad-hoc analyses. Conducts predictive modeling, data analysis and other areas as required. Works to design, conduct and summarize analytics related to student recruiting and admissions, student information, marketing analytics, enrollment management, financial aid, performance benchmarking, peer analysis, and other areas as required. The The Senior Enrollment Management Data and Information Analyst will make use of advanced statistical methods using statistical software such as SPSS, SAS, Stata, or JMP

The Senior Enrollment Management Data and Information Analyst will also work with UNH Center for DATA staff to leverage available skills by determining which departments/personnel are best suited to meet particular analytic needs.
Perform other duties as required. 


Minimum Qualifications: 

Master’s degree (doctorate preferred) in education, mathematics, statistics, computer science, economics, science, social science, business or a related field, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
At least 5-7 years experience. 

Advanced knowledge of post-secondary education and enrollment management.

Experience conducting enrollment predictive modeling at a post-secondary institution.

Advanced knowledge of research methods and analytical procedures

Advanced skills in data collection methods, statistical analysis, and reporting. Ability to formulate inquiries and analysis to advance the enrollment team.

Ability to use software to organize, analyze, and visualize information and communicate findings

Ability to work collaboratively with other research/data, enrollment, and information technology professionals

Knowledge of relational database concepts and statistical methods, as well as SQL, SPSS, MS Excel and PowerPoint, and Tableau.

Additional Preferred Qualifications: 
Research experience and knowledge of Banner Student data and tables. Familiarity with SAP Business Objects Web Intelligence platform.
