- Reporting to the Director of Institutional Research & Assessment, the Assistant Director will play a key role in supporting the strategic priorities of the Office and the College through a rigorous analysis of relevant data, identification of industry, enrollment, and market trends, and through a thoughtful approach to communicating research results. The Assistant Director will participate in the strategic planning process and assessment of institutional priorities, in managing survey projects, and in conducting market research to better understand new program opportunities for the College. The Assistant Director will evaluate institutional initiatives in support of a data driven and integrated approach to planning, evaluation, and strategic decision-making.

• Analyze all aspects of the student experience and provide data support to divisions and departments across the College.
• Develop dashboards and scorecards reflecting assessment initiatives and strategic priorities.
• Conduct environmental market scans to identify and benchmark national and regional trends.
• Develop new academic program opportunity analysis.
• Maintain data necessary for Institutional Research & Assessment and College initiatives and develop additional reports as necessary.
• Extend predictive analytics in support of the College’s assessment and strategic priorities.
• Develop and deploy survey assessments.
• Support re-accreditation efforts.
• Support of the Office’s website strategy.
• Assist in the strategic planning process and provide analysis for key initiatives.
• Respond to internal, external, and ad hoc requests for institutional data.
• Supervise and mentor the Office’s student employees.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Bachelor’s degree required. Preferred Field: Economics, Applied Statistics, Data Science, Business Analytics, Higher Education, Business Administration, or other related field. Experience: 5 years in a higher education setting or higher education consulting, or a combination of both. Experience in institutional research, institutional assessment and effectiveness, enrollment management, business intelligence, statistical analysis, and strategic planning preferred.
