Job Details

FUNCTION:  Responsible for the college’s institutional research function, including maintaining the college’s Institutional Effectiveness Assessment Measures; completing mandated external reporting including all data-related compliance requirements; submitting and analyzing National Student Clearinghouse data files; supporting accreditation and other accountability activities; conducting internal and external surveys; completing research studies and policy analyses; preparing enrollment projections; conducting marketing research; completing program needs assessments; maintaining longitudinal cohort files and conducting degree progress and other analytical studies to support college planning and accountability efforts; serving on the college’s Planning Advisory Council, Data Governance-Ellucian Committee, and Technology Advisory Group; contributing to economic impact and other cost analyses; conducting environmental scans to support strategic planning; supervising Research and Planning Analyst; providing direction to the Planning and Research Associate for assigned projects with the approval of the Vice President; representing the college at institutional research professional meetings; and performing other duties as assigned.

 

REQUIREMENTS:  Required qualifications include Master’s degree plus two years of direct work experience in a research or planning position at a post-secondary educational institution OR Bachelor’s degree plus five years of direct work experience in a research or planning position at a post-secondary educational institution; documented experience with SPSS statistical analysis software or equivalent technical capabilities; demonstrated ability to write formal research studies and make presentations appropriate for a senior management audience. Familiarity with Ellucian Colleague and WebIntelligence business-objects reporting desired but not required.

 

 SALARY:  Grade 13 on the 12-month Salary Scale. Starting salary range of $59,510-$79,445 with actual salary placement based on credentials. Includes excellent fringe benefit package.
