ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Coordinate data collection and analysis for college wide assessment cycles to include direct and indirect measures
- Coordinate AES Unit and Academic Program goal and objective setting tied to the strategic plan and assist and train campus community developing assessment plans
- Provide accurate data and analysis regarding the institution for IPEDS, Common Data Set, AICUP, MSCHE, and internal or external institutional data requests
- Develop and conduct survey research in response to institutional needs
- Utilize accurate statistical procedures and sampling techniques for institutional research projects to assure high levels of confidence and reliability to results
- Develop statistical models to measure impact of learning support services on student achievement of intended learning outcomes
- Provide research and assessment training to campus community
- Conduct institutional research in support of the college decision makers in the areas of planning, institutional effectiveness, program evaluation and accreditation
- Communicate with appropriate college faculty, staff, in analysis, compilation and interpretation of data
JOB REQUIREMENTS:- Ability to maintain confidential
- Understand and appreciate the dynamics of interpersonal relationships when dealing with students, faculty, administration, associates, and the public.
- Proficient with statistical and survey software packages
- Excellent communication, collaboration, customer service, and training expertise
- Microsoft Office skills
- Keen attention to detail
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred
EXPERIENCE: 2-5 years’ experience in a higher education environment preferably in Institutional Research or Institutional Effectiveness. Previous MSCHE ALO and self-study experience preferred.
