Utilizes large integrated databases such as the College ERP as well as small stand-alone datasets to extract data and perform appropriate statistical analyses to accomplish research objectives. Presents findings via engaging data visualizations and infographics

Job Details
Bachelor’s degree in statistics, mathematics, computer applications, business, quantitative social sciences, or related field requiring coursework in quantitative analysis. Master’s degree preferred.  A minimum of two years' experience in institutional research, outcomes assessment, educational research, applied statistics, social sciences, or a related field is required. Must have experience in data analysis in higher education.  Experience in developing, publishing, and maintaining dashboards and analytics.  Recent experience conducting analysis with statistical packages (e.g. SAS, SPSS, Excel).  Considerable technical experience with statistical analysis software (e.g., SAS, SPSS, R), relational databases, syntax/programming and reporting technologies. Knowledge of the concepts, development, management, and use of relational databases.  Presentation skills for analytic and complex information.  Proficient in statistics and quantitative data analysis including multivariate techniques, and predictive analytics.  Ability to translate quantitative data into usable information for planning, assessment, and other purposes.  Programming skills, using SQL or other database languages. Experience with Ellucian Colleague preferred.  Attention to detail.  Excellent listening/communication skills and the ability to articulate complex solutions clearly.  Must be computer literate with ability to utilize Microsoft Office at an intermediate level and the ability to learn and utilize specific higher education programs and systems.  Ability to learn and apply office practices, procedures, policies, and regulations that are essential to the position.  Fluency in a second language is preferred or may be required.  Ability to travel within the county and state.  Knowledge of Monmouth County and its communities preferred.
