Department: Planning and Decision Support

Position Summary:

The candidate would be expected to:
devise and implement analytical studies that will serve to inform decision-making at the executive level; conduct and analyze student and alumni surveys; analyze retention-related data;

ensure the accuracy and timeliness of the University's responses to internal and external data requests from governmental agencies, accrediting agencies and other associations, including by not limited to Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDs), state surveys, national surveys, accreditation and licensure requests, etc.

Required Degree, License or Certifications:

Master's degree

Required Skills or Software:

Intermediate knowledge of MS Word 2010, Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel 2010, On-line Records System, Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills, Must be able to treat confidential and sensitive information appropriately

Required Years of Experience: 5

Other Requirements:

Experience with statistical analysis and statistical-based packages.

Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to create effective messaging for reports and presentations. Ability to maintain confidentiality while managing multiple projects and resources.

Critical thinking skills and the ability to identify creative approaches or solutions to issues. Ability to work independently in a dynamic and collegial office environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Doctoral degree. Familiarity with Ellucian Colleague and Entrinsik Informer.
