- Hampden-Sydney College has an immediate opening for a Data Analyst and Reporting Coordinator. Reporting to the Associate Dean of Institutional Effectiveness, the Data Analyst and Reporting Coordinator is responsible for supporting the College mission by managing, analyzing and reporting key institutional data. The Research Analyst and Reporting Coordinator will aid in data management processes; assist in the development of reports and research studies to inform college planning and decision making; answer various institutional, agency, state and federal reports, questionnaires, and surveys. A focus of this position is to coordinate and prepare institutional data required for reporting, both internal and external, and to assure integrity of the College data infrastructure and data warehousing.

Hampden-Sydney College has an immediate opening for a Data Analyst and Reporting Coordinator. Reporting to the Associate Dean of Institutional Effectiveness, the Data Analyst and Reporting Coordinator is responsible for supporting the College mission by managing, analyzing and reporting key institutional data. The Research Analyst and Reporting Coordinator will aid in data management processes; assist in the development of reports and research studies to inform college planning and decision making; answer various institutional, agency, state and federal reports, questionnaires, and surveys. A focus of this position is to coordinate and prepare institutional data required for reporting, both internal and external, and to assure integrity of the College data infrastructure and data warehousing.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required, master's degree strongly preferred. Two years experience in reporting, data analysis, or related field, as well as experience with Jenzabar platform are a plus. The qualified candidate must have a strong understanding of the complexities of data management and transformation of databases/data analysis techniques, and experience with quantitative analysis. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products including Word and Excel. Must have strong analytical skills, a sharp memory, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. Experience in analyzing higher education data in an institutional research or related setting preferred. Will have demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple tasks and to work effectively with a variety of people within and outside the College.
