As a member of the Enrollment Division’s Enrollment Operations and Analytics Department and Senior Leadership team, the Enrollment Technology Manager (ETM) oversees, manages, and serves as the technical lead for the college’s Admission CRM platform, Technolutions Slate, to support the institution’s enrollment goals, relating to the areas of recruitment, and application data processing, utilization, and analysis. The Enrollment Technology Manager provides leadership and technical guidance in the management, maintenance, and administration of Slate and other related software.

Job Details
The Enrollment Technology Manager will be responsible for reporting on key enrollment metrics and data to both internal and external audiences. The ETM must be technology- and detailed-oriented, as the position is responsible for the accuracy and effectiveness of admission data entry, data operations, analysis, and reports. The Enrollment Technology Manager is responsible for the direct supervision of select staff members in the Enrollment Operations and Analytics department and must have strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities
  • Monitors and implements business processes and operations from point of inquiry to point of enrollment deposit, to include application processing while ensuring efficient and streamlined processes
  • Promote and manage the accuracy and integrity of admission data in Slate by researching and reconciling data discrepancies occurring among the various stages of the data flow process to ensure timely review of applications and data processing and analysis; identify problem records, resolutions and training needs among staff to prevent issues
  • Assist in the implementation of needed enhancements, maintenance, and testing of the Slate platform, reviewing documentation and user forums for enhancements and taking proactive action leading to increased functionality and efficiency and automation of processes
  • Serve as a liaison to other departments to ensure data migration integrity between Slate and other campus systems such as Front Rush and Colleague
  • Collaborate with Institutional Research and Effectiveness staff for data management and internal and external reporting
  • Respond to requests for data and information in a timely manner, ensuring data quality and accuracy
  • Manages the day-to-day technical processes, provides technical and user support, and trains and supervises staff members on technical functions whenever appropriate
  • Review and document data flow and operational processes for ongoing training and support
  • Problem solves technical issues and coordinates processes and respective communication with other college offices- admission, financial aid, registrar, student billing, residence life, student life, information technology, and athletics
  • Contribute to the overall success of the Enrollment Division by performing all other duties as assigned by the Director of Enrollment Operations and Analytics and the Vice President and Dean of Enrollment Management
Requirements and Qualifications
  • A Bachelor’s degree is required
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in higher education
  • Expertise working with a CRM system or Student Information System is essential to the position
  • Experience with conducting data analysis
  • The successful candidate should possess a strong work ethic, excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, and a willingness to learn new skills and technology
Preferred Skills and Competencies
  • Graduate degree preferred
  • An understanding of higher education enrollment business practices is preferred
  • Knowledge of Slate is preferred; familiarity with SQL is a plus
  • Proficiency with excel or statistical software such as SAS or SPSS is preferred
